(Part One of the Forest of Fear ACHTUNG!CTHULHU Living Campaign) It is late 1943 and a crack team of investigators are asked to attend the testing grounds at RAF Acaster Mablis. Their mission? To carry out a check on a group of scientists working on a revolutionary new propulsion system that is nearing completion and is ready for final testing. The possibilities of what could be achieved if the scientists succeed - the chance to transport large bodies of personnel around the world in a matter of moments - cannot be ignored. However, Section M has become increasingly concerned about the lack of progress on the project, including the scarcity of details about the successful flights that have taken place and only been reported back by its agents at the base.
